It has everything to do with attention to detail!
Co-ordinating with your wedding theme… choose elements and patterns and use your colors to surprise wedding guests and create a touch of drama at your wedding reception. From simple to elaborate… From casual to elegant… it’s all about reflecting your style.
Whilst almost anything is possible, the cake is all about reflecting your style and should be as unique as your personality. You should be able to order a stunning, white, elegant tiered cake if you are a traditionalist. Or if you are a bold contrasting person, then maybe a cake with black icing and hot pink trimmings is more your style. Choosing the right cake for you is all about details!
Don’t forget how your cake will taste. It is important to choose a flavor that both you and your guests will love. From the infamous red velvet cake to a more traditional fruit cake if you don’t like it then chances are your guests may not either.
Details, details, details……..
I know from experience that there is a lot to think about when planning a wedding but the cake table should be thought about as much as any other part of your wedding day. All too often I see couples who have just left it up to the reception venue to organize the cake table as part of their package and all they get is a small round table with a white table cloth (clean if they are lucky), and have it pushed into a dark, out of the way corner almost as an after thought.
But picture - this you walk into your reception with your brand new spouse, with the world’s biggest smile on your face, and there it is, your wonderful wedding cake and it takes your breath away. Placed perfectly on a beautifully decorated table that matches the rest of the reception tables with lighting that complements and placed with thought love and care.
Leave that to us
And what about the cake knife? You don’t exactly want to be handed the apprentice chef’s blunt and clumsy knife. We can take care of that too if you like .
From tier to tier your wedding cake should be the icing on top of your day……so to speak!
